The ACA New England Campership Fund

ACA New England provides camperships that will make summer camp experiences possible for New England’s most at-risk youth. Day and overnight camps in New England apply to ACA New England to receive campership funds for specific campers. Two-week camperships will be awarded for campers from New England who are between the ages of six and twelve and enrolled in a state-recognized education program (public, private, or home-school). The financial eligibility guidelines are those established by the USDA’s free or reduced lunch program. ACA New England, the camp, and the camper’s family all participate in the funding of the child’s summer camp experience. One hundred percent of the funds raised go directly to providing camp experiences to underserved children.

The ACA National Public Policy Fund

The American Camp Association plays an active role in creating and influencing the Public Policies that affect camps, staff, and families. With an office in Washington DC, the American Camp Association is on the forefront of critical safety issues such a background checks, lead-based paint, and transportation of children as well as the daily realities of Federal Funding, Conservation Policy and Environmental Protection. Your support will make sure your voice is heard in Washington. Please click to support the ACA National Public Policy Fund.
