U.S. Forest Service Issues Final Directives for Outfitting and Guiding Special Use Permits:

The U.S. Forest Service has issued Final Directives for Forest Service Outfitting and Guiding Special Use Permits. These directives will become effective on October 17, 2008. They have been published in the Federal Register/Vol. 73, No. 181. While for some, this is exciting reading, many of us just want to see a brief summary and learn what the directives mean to camps.
