There are numerous benefits to becoming a standards visitor including a membership discount for individual members, the opportunity to visit other camps while they are in operation and to pick up ideas you can use in your own camp, and the chance to give back and share what you have learned through the accreditation program and your career. Important Information Regarding Standards HR 4A (MANDATORY!)
We have recently been informed that the Web site which is REQUIRED to be checked in Standard HR-4A (National Sex Offender Public Registry) has both changed its name and Web address. The NEW name is: Dru Sjodin National Sex Offender Public Web Site, the NEW Web address is: www.nsopw.gov.

As stated above, checking this very specific Web site is a requirement of Standard HR-4A. If you use a background screening company that says they complete a "National Background Check," please verify they check this very specific site!
