Associate Visitor Course
An American Camp Association Curriculum


DATES & LOCATIONS

October 19-20, 2010
Tuesday, October 19, 9am-9pm & Wednesday, October 20, 9am-1pm
Location: The Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center

Contribute to ACA as an accreditation visitor! The Associate Visitor (AV) Course prepares participants to serve on a visitation team as the second visitor during an accreditation visit. Prerequisite for the AV Course: completion of the Standards Course or Standards Update Course (within the last 15 months). For more information about how to meet this requirement, email jami@acasocal.org.

Cost: There is no cost to participate in the AV Course (all meals and overnight accommodations will be provided). After completion of the course, visitors are asked to volunteer for at least 2 accreditation visits per summer. Advance registration required.
